Blue Toilet Water

Blue toilet water just makes me smile. This is especially the case in the public bathroom at the office. It doesn't have a tank so I am certain nobody else has used that toilet since it was cleaned. The blue water is so tranquil and it makes me happy to know that I will be the one person to take this tranquil caribbean blue happiness and destory it with my own bio-fuel. Ah, it is the little things.

To catch anyone up who reads my blog and hasn't heard much from me...Andi is starting a company and will provide the first SharePoint cruise. Of course being the technogeek, I am obligued to build her websites for the SharePoint cruise (CruiseSharePoint.com) itself...and for the company (TechCruises.com).

The Best Practices Conference #BPC is taking place in Reston which means I should be properly cooked for the entire week attending #SharePint after meeting outings. I am looking forward to meeting a few and reconnecting with many.

I also have a oral presentation for a multimillion dollar account on Tuesday. I wrote a large majority of the technical on it and I am thrilled to death we made the down-select. I have 2 SharePoint proposals going on, and just received a monster Cloud RFP that I have been tracking for the past 8 months.

I have a twitter now (@n8ivwarrior)...which until I actually started using it, I could really see the point in it. Now that I use it, my first thought was "where have I been?" So...my poor neglected blog. I have returned to provide you a little insight into what has been and will be my life in turmoil. Hope to see you again soon.

What is it About Shoes?

I just have to know. What is it about shoes? I own five pairs of shoes and I can tell you where they are located at any given point in time. Each of them has a purpose. I have a black pair of tie-up shoes used for work and only work. In fact, they stay in my locker at work. The second pair of shoes are basically a backup for the first pair. They are slip on Dexter loafers in black and brown. Multifunctional and works with nearly every outfit. Third are my Nike Air Monarchs. I use these for nearly everything casual including my daily trip to work. After arriving at work, I put on the shoes mentioned first. Next are the mowing sneakers. They are plain white New Balance and were the predecessor to the Monarchs. I use them when I am mowing. They are green. Lastly are my bowling shoes. Dexter bowling shoes. I have made an executive decision in my life today. MomofJenMatt is right about a very sensitive issue and I have been running it through my mind for most of the night. I am strongly against the support of child pornography and to be honest, Xanga could be considered as contributing to the distribution of child pornography.
