Tick, Tock, There goes the clock!

Welcome to 2006!

As I sit here and watch Train at the House of Blues in Chicago, my excitement builds toward the beginning of the next year and with the new year comes the new look. I hope you like it.

I am have had the great pleasure of learning about other people's views on religion, life, things that make them laugh, things that make them cry, and things the truly piss people off. I appreciate all of it. I am a very new blogging and am truly enjoying it. Actually, I must say I haven't really enjoyed something like this for a very long time (say 20 years). I like being able to express myself and have found it extremely therapeutic.

So, who to blame? Well, there is my wife (QueenSuchandSuch), who as of tonight has decided to stop protecting all of her posts and open them to the entire Xanga community, my kids (all 4), and especially all of you. I have only been really blogging since December 20 and in that time, I have subscribed to 27 people, and to my surprise, 17 have subscribed to me! I find is hard to believe that there are that many people out there who haven't taken their medication. For all of you prescription dodgers, I bow to you (Please don't chop off my head).

2006 holds promise for all your dreams, resolutions, and ambitions. Just keep your eye on the target, and it will surely come.

What is it About Shoes?

I just have to know. What is it about shoes? I own five pairs of shoes and I can tell you where they are located at any given point in time. Each of them has a purpose. I have a black pair of tie-up shoes used for work and only work. In fact, they stay in my locker at work. The second pair of shoes are basically a backup for the first pair. They are slip on Dexter loafers in black and brown. Multifunctional and works with nearly every outfit. Third are my Nike Air Monarchs. I use these for nearly everything casual including my daily trip to work. After arriving at work, I put on the shoes mentioned first. Next are the mowing sneakers. They are plain white New Balance and were the predecessor to the Monarchs. I use them when I am mowing. They are green. Lastly are my bowling shoes. Dexter bowling shoes. Moving on and moving out

I have made an executive decision in my life today. MomofJenMatt is right about a very sensitive issue and I have been running it through my mind for most of the night. I am strongly against the support of child pornography and to be honest, Xanga could be considered as contributing to the distribution of child pornography. Therefore, this is my last post with Xanga. I am moving to http://www.blogger.com/ . Blogger.com is tied to/owned by Google. It is a little more complicated to use, but I figure I will get used to it.
